*Special Session*
Governor Matt Blunt, will be calling a special session on Abortion, in Jefferson City, just ahead of the Veto session. AAkM councils will be asking their members to attend & show support for those warriors who are fighting for the rights of our unborn babies.

I believe that we should personally thank the Governor for having a special session to protect innocent life. Everyone that is in a position to make decisions will step on toes at times, and we may not always agree with their decisions on every issue, but the importance of standing up for innocent life should be supported by every Christian and everyone seeking to stop the killing of babies. There will be negative publicity about the special session, coming out of the mouths of those with agendas, and it will many times be bigoted and narrow minded.

Though we each have different jobs-thus are different parts of the body-we join in agreement that children should be taught to serve God. We can find strength through that unity, through fellowship and association with each other. We must stand in the gap for our children, against the wiles of Satan. It is not for ourselves that we join together, but for God and the children.

Teachers you do have a choice!
Does your Teachers organization line up with what you believe as a CHRISTIAN? Support what you believe?

All of us should look at writing a letter to the editor supporting the courage of Governor Blunt to say that the protection of innocent life is important enough to make it a visual, special issue for the legislature to come in and validate the will of the people. Lets get our voice out there, with letters to the editor, emails, and any other media that can support and tell the truth, because the liberal main line media will support and tell half truths many times that are often great lies. We need to pray for those in media and government that are blind, and cannot hear the truth, that their hearts will change. We must lead with the love and forgiveness of Jesus in all that we do, so that by our fruit, they will know that we are His. God Bless *** Gregory

For What it is Worth

Someone asked me an interesting question, they asked--- “The more we know aren’t we held to a higher accountability?” With a smile I said yes, this is true. “Wouldn’t it be better to not know then?” With great sadness, I wondered if this is what most Christians thought.
Being apart of AAkM Ministry has opened my eyes to the World-View of many fellow believers. We have so many resources available to educate you if you truly want to know what is going on in today’s world. Or are you like my friend, not sure if you want to be held accountable for what you know is right?

I have a favorite scripture, John 2:15, (where Jesus turns over the moneychangers tables), in His father’s house. These tables that Jesus turned over were an abomination to our Father. There are many tables in this great country that need to be turned over and can be turned over through God’s power if we follow the example shown in God’s word. God has led me and many others to join together with Intervention Ministries to turn over the table of Methamphetamine Addiction in this country. I’ve spent 27 years in Law Enforcement fighting against this and other drugs. Law Enforcement has rocked the table but without God’s people helping, this table will not be turned over. Many helping in this effort do not have experience dealing with this issue, but they have taken a step
forward and God is supplying all they need to help in upending this Methamphetamine table. You may not think there is a table that you can help turn over, talk with God about it and take the first step and then watch for the falling tables! America ASLEEP kNOw MORE, Intervention Ministries and other Christian groups have many tables in their sights and with the help of God’s people these tables will fall.

It is time we asked ourselves the same question that David asked Saul and his army. When will we awaken to the FACT that we have, for far too long, allowed the enemy of our soul to run rampant over the souls of defenseless children trapped in our "public schools"? If they are public, why don't they represent the views of the public? Why are Godly values and traditions eschewed as hackneyed and old-fashioned as millions of children slide down the slippery slope of anti-god moral relativism? Like David, we must ask ourselves "Is there not a cause?" Isn't the protection of God's children worth it?
That's right...God's children. They do not belong to the state, they do not belong to some judge in Washington...they do not belong to elected officials. No, my friends, they are God's children, and we are called to defend them.
The ACLU? NEA? PEOPLE FOR THE AMERICAN WAY? AMERICANS UNITED FOR THE SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE? Who are these uncircumcised philistines? Here's the key. Most of Saul's army were intimidated when they saw Goliath. "He's so big, how can we ever beat him?" they asked. David, tried by the lion and the bear, saw Goliath and declared "he is so big, how can I possibly miss?" It is time to grab a stone!
