MIDWEST SUMMIT FOR
MORALITY & OUR GODLY HERITAGE
Saturday, September 24th in Joplin, Mo.
Taylor Auditorium on the campus of Missouri Southern
State University
3950 East Newman Rd..
1 to 4:30 p.m.
The conference will cover the Who, What, When, Where
& How of the moral decay which has permeated our
nation and what can be done to reverse its effects.
Special attention will be given to the public
education system and its effect on our children.
Open to the public, there will be no charge to
attend.

Family organization in America. R.L. is a watchman,
evangelist and inspirational speaker for our times.
He is working to reach the lost, and educate and

Special Session Update
September 14, AAkM went to Jefferson City, to thank
the Senators that voted yes for the SB1 bill on
Abortion, and observe the House of Representatives
debating the bill, which passed that evening. We are
thankful to have a Christian Governor, who is
willing to stand up for Godly values. Also, the
Christian legislators that brought forth the bill
and supported it. We had a chance to meet with him
and share some of the Actions AAkM is taking against
enemies of the cross.
Thank you to the council members that came to
Jefferson City to show their support with us.
Statement from Gov. Matt Blunt on Passage of
Pro-Life Legislation
"I am grateful to the Missouri General Assembly for
passing a good pro-life piece of legislation that
will reduce the number of abortions in our state.
This is a solid step in the right direction toward
cultivating a culture that values human life and the
rights of the unborn."
Judge Blocks New Abortion Bill
Springfield Healthcare Center filed a lawsuit
Thursday, September 15, just hours after Governor
Matt Blunt signed the law. Friday’s action by the
judge blocks the law from taking effect.
U.S. District Court Judge Nanette Laughrey, ordered
a temporary restraining order , blocking the law,
until a hearing can be scheduled for a permanent
junction.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but
against the rulers, against the authorities, against
the powers of this dark world and against the
spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Christians Responding to
Need
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat,
I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I
was
A stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes

AAkM responds to Katrina
Responding to a disaster in a
Christian way. New Orleans and the surrounding areas
that were devastated by hurricane Katrina, had a cry
for help that needed God’s presence. With love, Pass
the Salt, Minutemen United, America ASLEEP kNOw
MORE, Fellowship & Association of Christian
Teachers, His Eternal Power, Living Faith
Fellowship, and Operation Save America Ministries
worked together to give love, food, water, and other
necessities to those in need. The second greatest
Commandment from Jesus is to “love your neighbor as
yourself”.
When Dave Daubenmire, Pass the Salt, and President
of Fellowship & Association of Christian Teachers,
called out for the need of someone to go to New
Orleans to establish a command center for
distribution of necessities and love, he called on
Gregory Thompson, Founder of America ASLEEP kNOw
MORE and Executive Director of FACT. Gregory told
AAKM member Guy Newcomb who said, “lets go”, and
they were on their way. Before they left, Keith
Newcomb and Larry Jenkins with Harvest Fellowship
Church gave them gas money for the trip, so that
they could help be a part of this love offering to
others.
God’s hand was in everything that we did, He made
everything happen and we just
happened to be there as a vessel
that He used. We had many good people step up to the
plate to help, unlike what you may see at times from
the main line media, the majority we met were very
good people. We set up a couple of locations that we
could distribute food, water, baby needs, and many
other items we take for granted. We set things up
for the churches to come in and take loads to their
churches to distribute to their communities. What a
beautiful response by local Homeland Security Chief
Vincent Bruno, and Chief of Police Peter Dale, along
with the Louisiana police, the New York police, the
Houston Police, and National Guardsmen (some from
Springfield, and Columbia Missouri). After we set up
a command center and unloaded the first two loads in
a Lions club and a warehouse, we had two ministers
out of Ohio come in the Thursday night, just after
Guy and I headed back to Missouri to take over. What
a beautiful sight in the eyes of Jesus when He sees
His children working together with yielding hearts
to help others.
Dave Daubenmire had started out with a first load in
Biloxi, Mississippi, and then put these ministries
into motion to go to New Orleans as he was returning
home to get needed supplies, knowing that he had men
& women of action for Jesus in the different
ministries that he could count on for help.
